And for what?
Because of this!:

This little plastic bottle of spray has the most A-M-A-Z-I-N-G fragrance I have EVER smelt in my entire life! It’s just gorgeous and I love it so, so much! I’m a sucker for caramel and this has the deepest and richest scent and it just sits on my skin perfectly.
It’s just… *chef’s kiss*!
For a spray, it is incredibly long wearing. I can vouch for this because when I spritzed myself in the Mecca city store, I caught the train home and then walked for about 25 minutes home in 32 degree Celsius heat. ALL I could smell was caramel. Left, right and centre… and I had only sprayed my left forearm.
That’s it!
And I could smell it throughout my clothes and my living room once I got home. I was shocked by it’s longevity. It was potent, it was permeating and it was just glorious! I knew I had to have it.
Come the weekend, it was in my little hands leaving the store headed for its new home next to my prized perfumes. I definitely have a thing for sweet fragrances – from Viktor & Rolf’s Bonbon to Kayali’s Vanilla 28 – these are the scents that I gravitate towards the most. But up until now, I haven’t owned a Caramel scent. And damn it, the addiction is so real! The interesting thing that I have noticed is that I also tend to crave sweet treats when I spray myself. Well, I guess it’s not that weird, I mean, when I go into a cookie store the smell just entices me more to buy a treat.
And I know I should have waited until I used up my other sprays but I was seduced! It’s such a captivating smell to me I just couldn’t resist. I know that I broke my commitment to Project Pan but I don’t have any regrets about buying it – it was SO worth it! But I promise to do better; they do say when you fall off the horse, you dust yourself off and get back on… or something like that. Meaning, I’ve got to give it another shot.
So, I’m going to make a list of the products that tempt me, rather than buying something on impulse. I have about 5 things I want to buy already, so hopefully by writing them down and really thinking about the reason why I want them might shed some light on how I make purchasing decisions.
Hopefully.
In the meantime, where I can, I’ll try and use up more of my products – especially the sprays. I think my house is going to smell like a perfume shop for the next few months!
Much love,
